In life, we often categorize decisions into “big” – such as whether to begin a new career, to get married (or not), to have children, to write a book – and “small” – such as what to eat today, what to wear, whether to drink coffee or tea.
BUT, from the Akashic Records’ perspective, every choice carries a particular energy and resonance – or LACK of resonance – with who you really are.
The so-called “small” decisions – how we treat our bodies day to day, how we respond in a moment of irritation, where we direct our attention, how much time we give ourselves for self-care and to do things that nourish and sustain us, as opposed to draining us – these all alter the path of your day.
And the path of your day – when we combine all of those days together over time – becomes the path of your life.
Imagine choosing compassion instead of frustration in a tense moment with your child, partner, or colleague.
Imagine pausing to ask the Akashic Records for guidance before sending a hasty email or text. (How much unnecessary tension, conflict, and disruption we could avoid! Plus the next-day embarrassment of having sent that hasty email.)
Imagine having the Records as a direct line to Divine Source, which can help you slow down and come back to your true Self in those moments when life gets challenging, or something triggers you.
The ripple effects of these choices are vast, and they compound over time.
As a direct line to Higher Guidance & Wisdom, the Records can help you make decisions for your highest good… and for the highest good of ALL.
Using the Akashic Records to Make Decisions
Here are some practical examples of how to phrase questions for the Akashic Records in daily life:
– Food Choices: Instead of counting calories or following rigid rules, pause & ask the Records, “What food will nourish my body and spirit right now?”
– Time Management: When your to-do list feels overwhelming, ask the Records for focus and clarity: “Which task is most aligned with my Soul’s priorities today?”
– Relationships: Before calling a friend or partner, you might ask the Records: “What’s the most loving way to show up in this conversation?” or “Is there any past resentment I need to set down before interacting with this person in the present moment?”
– Self–Care: In moments of tiredness or feeling drained, ask the Records: “What form of rest will best restore me?”

Then listen for the answers, which will come from the Records in alignment with your Higher Self.
The answers might come as images, feelings, words, symbols, whispers of intuition, or just a deep knowing. All of these forms of information are valid.
Over time, the more you interface with the Records in daily life, you’ll notice a deepening trust. Not just in the Records, but also in yourself.
Life flows with more ease.
Opportunities align more organically.
Your days become less about pushing or striving, and more about aligning and receiving.
The beauty of this practice is not that you get “perfect” answers every time, but that you cultivate a sense of intimacy with your own Soul. With your higher and deeper knowing.
When we use the Akashic Records in this way, each question becomes an act of expansion, and a reminder that Spirit is woven into the fabric of your daily life.
