Inner Work 218: Ego Interference in Akashic Records Work (Part 9 – Needing to be right)

This episode in my 10-part series on ego interference is specifically for Akashic Records practitioners working with clients.

The human ego is one of the major obstacles – if not THE major obstacle – that can create static, noise, and interference in spiritual practice and, more specifically, in being able to powerfully and easily connect to the Akashic Records.

I’ve created this 10-part podcast series to help you identify and overcome different forms of ego interference in your own practice, including:

  • self-doubt
  • attachment to outcomes
  • attachment to timelines
  • avoidance / spiritual bypassing
  • fear of disappointment
  • perfectionism
  • fear of letting go of control
  • … and more

By the end of this series, you’ll be equipped to recognize and work through these pesky ego patterns when they show up, so they won’t derail you anymore.

  1. Thank you for this! Really enjoy listening to your podcasts! Can see me listening to them again and again.

Although I can struggle with many of the issues you talk about, this is probably my biggest fear. It’s not so much I need to be right, but more so fearing to take someone’s money and the reading turns out to be wrong or just plain bad. I’ve gotten better about this with my Human Design Readings, but here I’m hoping to pull something from out of no where and I worry that I’ll be wrong, especially if they’re paying me. That’s why right now, I’m just trying to do this for myself. Really wanting to work on my own issues in life. So, again thank you!!

Absolutely, I hear you 100%! These fears of getting it “wrong” or disappointing a client are very common for practitioners with high levels of integrity, conscientiousness, and care – because you want to do the best possible job! We address & work through these fears in depth in my AR Certification Program, since they’re so common and normal : )
