Pausing amidst the whirlwind

*Welcome, Lightworker! I’m glad you’re here. You can join my email community to get access to my free Akashic Records Mini Course and weekly newsletter.

Has life felt a bit like a whirlwind lately?

It has over here –

Lots of energy moving through, lots of things on my calendar (both work- and family-related), PLUS I’m guilty of falling back into an old pattern of overscheduling myself.

Whoops!

(I keep trying to work through that one! It’s an ongoing process.)

To write The Weekly Seeker for today, I decided to set aside some INTENTIONAL QUIET TIME and reflect on what most needed to come through, perhaps as a useful message for the whole community.

The words that sparked immediately were:

You must consciously pause amidst the whirlwind.

When you diminish or discount the value of PAUSING – even during life’s busiest moments – this is when you risk veering off your path and getting pulled away from your highest purpose.

When we get caught in that whirlwind of life – in all the activity, movement, external action – we tend to see things horizontally.

We get swept into that horizontal axis of reality; the material or dense plane of existence; the 3D world we inhabit as humans.

This is when we get caught up in ego. Seeing ourselves as limited egos, interacting with other people who we also perceive as egos. (Instead of interacting as Souls, with other Souls.)

The horizontal perspective of day-to-day human life, with all of its mundane tasks and realities and demands, can pull us away from the awareness that we’re also existing – or MEANT to exist – on the vertical plane.

The vertical plane of higher consciousness and wisdom, clear insight, and direct connection to Divine Source.

It’s through this vertical plane that we can create and sustain a full embodied expression of our inner divinity.

It’s this connection to something higher and wiser than the human ego that allows you to KNOW who you really are, and what you’re really here to do.

So, when we get lost in the whirlwind of day-to-day life – and we begin to believe that’s all there is – we can also lose sight of Who We Are… and where our Souls are calling us to go.

My goal for this installment of The Weekly Seeker, then, is to remind you (as I remind myself) to pause.

Take a conscious pause from all the activity.

Give yourself an hour, or an afternoon, or a day to just be with yourself.

Use this pause to remember and re-establish, more firmly than ever, your connection to Divine Source, to your eternal Self, to your deepest purpose for being here.

(So often, we think we *don’t* know what our purpose is… and we may seek answers outside of ourselves to answer that question. But I think we DO know. In our hearts, we know… if we just take the time and space to listen.)

As you take an intentional rest, you can reconnect to that vertical dimension…

… that vertical plane of existence through which you can access so much clarity, so much wisdom, so much peace.

With love,
Josephine
