*Welcome, Lightworker! I invite you to join my email community to get access to my free Akashic Records Mini Course + weekly newsletter.
Your natural state is to be connected to Divine Source, at all times, without interruption.
(Or with as little interruption as possible.)
In other words, the true and natural YOU is *always* connected. Always wise. Always at peace. Always part of the whole.
So, if this is our natural condition – to be connected at all times to the benevolent and purposeful flow of the Universe…
… why and how do we get DISCONNECTED?
What makes us feel or think that we’re disconnected, separate, alone?
There are two types of “noise” or “static” that can create this feeling of separation and of being disconnected from Divine Source.
The first is EXTERNAL NOISE.
This is the noise and useless chatter from the world outside of us – the external world.
External noise can include, for instance:
- What you hear/see on the news
- What you hear/see on social media
- Other people’s opinions
- Other people’s beliefs – especially their beliefs about you or how you “should” live your life
- Other people’s projections – i.e., when other people try to project *their* stuff onto you
- Cultural conditioning and programming
- Social conditioning and programming
- 3D illusions, such as the illusion of separation and the illusion of scarcity – which are often hammered into us through the media (and other means) from the moment we’re born, or soon after
By virtue of living in a human dimension, with other humans, most of us are exposed to these forms of external noise on a regular basis.
This external chatter can make it difficult to stay grounded and centered in yourself, to remember who YOU really are and what truly matters to you, and to not sacrifice your authentic self to the demands, opinions, and expectations of the outside world.
The second category is INTERNAL NOISE.
This can include:
- Negative voices you’ve internalized throughout your life – for example, the negative voice of a judgmental parent can become your own harsh “inner critic” voice
- Core beliefs and schemas you’ve developed about yourself – for example, “I’m not good enough” or “I have to be perfect to be loved”
- Ego mind interference: second-guessing, self-doubt, overthinking, self-judgment, perfectionism, needing to be “right”
- Unhealed wounds and unprocessed emotions from the past (this life or another), which create “static” and stress in your system
As Divine beings living through a human experience, we must remain vigilant about these types of noise – both external and internal noise.
We must be willing to ask, sincerely, “what’s getting in the way of me returning to my natural state of being, which is complete connectedness and unity with Divine Source?”
And, even more importantly, we must ask ourselves: “how am I contributing to my own disconnection, consciously or unconsciously?” (No blame or shame here – we’ve all gotten in our own way at some point.)
For more insights, we can follow up with: “what am I doing, believing, or holding onto that is PREVENTING me from feeling connected most of the time?”
Returning to – and maintaining – a state of consistent connection to Divine Source and to your own inner power is NOT about adding anything…
… it’s about removing the things – beliefs, behaviors, habits, illusions, external chatter – that have caused your disconnection in the first place.
This is another way in which we can take radical responsibility for our inner states of being, and for what we’re creating as a result.
It can be tough work… but it’s what we’re here for!
With love,
Josephine
